David Pitschi - Above the Andes

In order to get the new product shots in for all the trade shows and dealers, elaborate photo shootings took place in the southern hemisphere a year before these products would actually be available to the customers. In September 1999 we embarked on a trip to Chile where we would start shooting our very first rolls of 16mm film for our movie project TRIBAL which would become one of the first European Snowboard movies. European meant 100% European riders riding the best terrain around the world. Swiss rider David Pitschi above 3000 meters tweaking a picture perfect bs air into the skyline of the Andes after a long shooting day.
