Sani Alibabic - Stormrider

from CHF 690.00

The pressure to get good pictures was always on – for riders as well as photographers. In the era of pre-cell phones and social media, creating content was a long and enduring process. After capturing a shot it could take days if not weeks until you’d finally get to a city to develop your rolls. After going through your selection at the end of the season you’d submit your best shots to your favorite magazines – physically by mail. Until you’d finally see any of your work published it usually would take months. So getting out there on any given day was key. Sani and I were out in Hochfügen with great snow conditions but insanely strong wind. Somehow that element came into play nicely in this shot.
